View Full Version : snakes plot against us!

evil11
03-12-05, 04:18 PM
we all think snakes arn't very smart. but i have come to the conclusion they really plot against us and see how bad they can scare us. they have contests with other snakes to see who can scare us the worst. i was talking with other snake owners about this. post some stories of how your snakes have scared you and won the bet with other snakes.

the worst one they pull is when they pretend they are gonna starve themselves to death. they tell the snake across the room 'i bet i can get him to make that rat dance'. that snake wins the bet everytime. and he laughs at us as we are dangling a dead rat around and the other snake laughs at us too. im pretty sure they tell each other that we have small brains too or why else would we do such a thing.

i also have a reliable source that informed me that they have thier own site. 'snakes who own people' that is why we have unexplained virus sometimes. they post things like....how often should i bite my owner? just wondering what the norm is' others answers look like this 'i bite mine like every 3 holdings, but someone will come along and let you know for sure.'

evil11
03-12-05, 04:20 PM
lets look at snakes that arn't burrowers...they hide under the substrate and watch you search the whole house frantically for them. they are playing the game hot and cold. okay your getting hoter, nope colder. laughing the whole time at us with just thier eyes and nostrils poking out to see us so they can laugh!

evil11
03-12-05, 04:23 PM
well my new snake got me in the hot or cold game.
when i went to bed she was sleeping on top of her tree. she was like that for hours. this morning i get up and no snake!i figured she was under the mulch. well this evening when i still see no hide or hair of her i got worried. i told me daughter to come help me look. we moved around the mulch. still no snake. so we frantically started the search. i dont know why we searched cause it is impossible for her to get out!
after a while of searching i looked in the mulch again and seen 2 nostrils poking out and a mouth gapped open laughing at us!

they learn to torture at a very young age!

evil11
03-12-05, 04:24 PM
please tell me ways your snakes torture you. i dont want to be alone in this.

I really don't care if I get kicked off this site but its because of people like you that there is so much wrong in this world. You think too much about **** that doesn't make any sense. I am sure that an animals (snakes) that spends its entire life hiding out waiting for food in the wild is really trying to plot against you in its captive environment. This is why I don't talk on the forums, theres too many people like you out there. You probably listen to Enya(or however you spell it) and dance around pretending you are a sun flower brightening up everyones life. Get a frigging life lady. Its also lonely women like you that try to take babies out of the hospital and say its yours because you can't have one.

Anyways, Cheers

Hmmm...It wouldnt be that fun to have something crawl up my heiny lol. It would be even worse if it died....quite a mess.

Oh and i was laughing because he totaly went hysterical and ripped you a new one..sorry but it was humorous. Why cant my mom be estatic about snakes like other people. I have four ( bci, Bp, Ksb, and a garter snake) But my birthday arrives on april fifth and i am begging and pleading and dancing for a burmese and reticulated python...im ready for the big boys even though i may only be fifteen. I have had experience with large boids so it will be fun to raise those two species. Of course im getting males...gotta start small and make my way up...:)

Calcarifer:

You need to relax, something i have learned from being with my girlfriend for 2 years is that girls sometimes get in these moods where they say things to make people laugh, and to make them selfs laugh, you are brand new to this board, only 7 posts, maybe after posting on this board for a few months you will realize how some of the people are on this board, how frienly they are, and how they joke around, people like jimmydavid, jeff favelle, and so on are the type of people that lighten up this board, if you can't stand reading a joke topic like this then you shouldnt bother replying to it with stupid comments..

well i have to think your in serious need off a sense of humour Calcarifer, i hate to contribute to threads where people are slagging others off but after seing what evil11 did to save her rtb and reading some of her posts i feel that she doesn't deserves to be insulted like that, i think that perhaps you should think more about what youve read before you post.

anyway evil11 well done to you on taking the rtb in and spending all your money and time on her, i hope and pray that there are more people out there as dedicated to their herps as you are!!!

Evil,

You got my vote, don't worry about those who lack the imagination to be even the tiniest bit creative and who have no sense of fun. You express your humour and good nature through posts like the one which started this thread, I express mine through sarcasm and mocking of others :D

Here is a quote I have seen here and a few other places, which I believe is very applicable to this post.

"Never argue with and idiot, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience"

if you only knew all the questions i had when i got my first snake. i knew nothing. just went and bought a RTB. the first time she pooped it was 3 in the morning. i had the snake in a tote rushing her to an all night vet.lol. thank god i went on the site i belonged to and asked what the heck it was. it was urates and feces. lmao. i would have looked so dumb at the vet. after that i bought every snake book i could find and surfed the net looking for everything. that was 2 yrs. ago and i still have so much to learn.

hahaha at one point you were really hot in the game! my BP came from my nephews petshop and her cage was next to a green tree python. i think my bp has an identity crisis. she thinks she is a green tree python. she eats like a pig. would eat everyday if i let her! she also stays in her trees! she even pulls her dead mice into the tree to eat! when she is older i will explain to her that she really is a BP. to young to tell her now i dont want to have to get psychiatric help.lol

alot of times all it takes is an owner who will spend some time with them plus snakes think that they may be food for you. once they realize you are not out to eat them they calm down :)

I have been bitten twice by BP's as well, didnt' leave a mark either time.

First: Demetae was about 1 1/2 yrs old and had an RI. She was on oral baytril for 2 weeks and at the end of two weeks paid me back for forcing the yucky stuff down her throat by nailing my hand.

Second: A male I had just gotten decided I didn't need to check his cage temps and taged me when I reached past him with the temp gun.

Both times the reaction was laughing so hard my stomach hurt, they think they are so big and tuff!! LOL

On the identity crisis, I have one that my husband is sure thinks she is a Blood Python the way she eats!!

chance is in lead on scaring the heck out of me. she has blown the other boas away with the scare the owner game. after her surgerys i put her on newspaper (to stop any bacteria) and on newspaper if i was sleeping the noise of her moving would wake me.i was up for 3 days prior to the last surgery. 2 nights befor the surgery i had to rush her to an all night vet to get a lump lanced cause the infection was going behind her eye. then surgery night i stayed up all night watching her.

well after surgery i would set the alarm for every hour to check on her. well after days of this i really needed a nap.
i had just fell asleep and i heard loud bubbles. immediately i shot up and looked at chance...she was under water blowing loud bubbles out her nose! scared the heck out of me. i jumped up and threw her lid off heat lamp and all and yanked her out of the water! she came out of the water laughing at me! when my heart slowed down enough to have a heart attack i flat lined. lol

i'l never forget when i bought my corn snake izzy, i came into my room to find him full body in his water bowl that scared the **** out of me an then i found out thats how they bath and cool down lol and then i'l never forget when i put his female companion in to live with him, he gave me a look with his little face that kinda said why are you doing this to me lol he is now under strict orders to stay tidy from his little female friend and its all my fault:D :D :D

awww that is so cute!! i can see that look :)

truthfully all joking aside....when i pulled chance out of the water she looked at me like she was pissed. as soon as i put her back in the tank she did the same thing. i just stood there shaking my head wondering why she was trying to kill me. i guess she found a new trick and was enjoying it.

in all senses snakes have a very cute look to the face when they do something like that though, especially izzy lol hes the tamest of my lot hes my first one and i'l never forget when i bought him i was scared to hold him cos he MOVED lol then when i put my hand in the tank first time he just clambered straight on he was as good as gold an hes the only one that hasnt bitten me and who has taken a feeding on my hand lol, the funniest experiance i had with my snakes was when they got me my bp she was sat there in the tank an my dad wouldn't pick her up without a glove, well i walked into my room (where they had set up my suprise snake tank and snake inside) and was really taken aback i looked at her, and to the amazment of my parents and the old owner (who was scared of her) i took the lid straight of and took her out lol it was the expresion on everyones face that made me laugh:eek: and i've loved her ever since:D wouldnt get rid of her for the world!

LOL, Evil, I thought I was the only one who thought that my snakes laugh at me!!!!! :)
I once came home and found the front end of my savu python submerged in his waterbowl, head and all. I thought FOR SURE he had drowned, and when I lifted the lid, he didn't move, until I reached in and pulled him out of the water, and he looked at me with the biggest laugh I've ever seen. Haha, he made me think he was dead!

And when I'd gotten my first snake, a milksnake, she was on my shoulder, and I was sitting on my couch, and didn't feel her get off. I looked around the whole room two or three times, and was reduced to tearing my new couch apart to look for her.
Eventually, I found her curled up under my desk around a power bar, laughing at me the whole time I was looking and tearing apart the couch.

LOL, snakes have the weirdest sense of humour!!! ;)

lol nicki. i had my male boa out and i was sitting on my one month old couch. like a bat out of hell he made a break for it! he went under the cushion and got in the back part of the couch. i freaked and got a knife and cut the whole back part of my couch open. there he was as big as life curled around the wood in it, laughing at my horror. he was like 'what is your malfunction mom?

LOL, that's TERRIBLE!!! I was THIS CLOSE to cutting out the back of the couch, and I'd already ripped out the bottom of it, and was bleeding up and down my arms from trying to stick my hands into the inside of the couch to feel for her!!! OH well, it's a good thing I love her so much! ;)

hahaha i agree! they are darn lucky thier owners love them so much :) when i bring chance out now she heads right for my computer chair and makes herself real comfy! she is 8 foot. no room for me at all. i have to sit on something else. and the worst part is she knows she can get away with it. i get the 'boy do you look uncomfortable' look. then i will be typing something and her big head will go on the keys and mess it all up :)

I just remember one of these time.

I forgot to close my vivarium top and I have gone take a walk. when I came back, my ball python was on the floor near is cage. He seem to laught at me but I put that on my imagination since I catch it in time. After that I went to the bathroom. Everything on the border of the bath and on the border of the sink was thrown on the floor. So it seem, my snake go outside is cage, on the bath, on the sink, descend by the bath or the toilet to finally return near it's cage in the living room. I understood at this moment why he seem to laught.

LOL, that's too funny Lotus. :)

Good thing all of my snakes are little, so I don't have to fight for space with them! But Chance sure is beautiful! How could you ever resist her when she wants to be the one on the computer chair??? ;)
