anyone ever tried beardie pellets to use as roach food????? do you think that would work as well as dof forrd or whatever else has been used.

BD pellets are great, better than dog food. You can also use greens and fruits

yeah i figured it would be ok since it is a formula meant for bds, and if the roachs are eating it then technically the bd's are too!!lol thanks alot

Thanks. I do roaches to and they are great because you can feed them most anything. You can raise the colony on less expensive foods and gut load them before feeding. Gutloading roaches is more effective than gutloading crix since their stomachs are so small.

nice are those orange heads???or the discoid ones??? i have lobsters, they seem to work really well, my beardies perfer them over anything..i think they will eat just about a tonne of any type of bug lol. since you are in florida, do you have lobster roaches there??or are they still more southern???

these are Death Heads. I also have lobsters for babies. Both are native to Florida

death heads..... a little morbid isnt it lol!!!! how are they for softness??like the lobsters are supposed to have a high meat to shell ratio, are the death heads also like that, im just curious always looking for different food ideas
