HERPGUY:

Sweet looking boa and set up, almost thought the color red on the boa was real till I saw it must be a red light, LOL.

Even still gorgeous boa.

I dont know about those screen enclosures for snakes. It may lose to much humidity and end up in bad sheds.

Looks nice though!

Herpguy2004, I'm not 'judging' you or trying to 'get in your face' but if that's what you are permanently housing your boa in you may want to rethink that. There's too much ventilation, so it must be hard too keep the humidity up as well as the temp. If you want to keep it in there, it would be a good idea to come up with a way to keep some ventilation in.

Anyway, that's a great looking boa man, and a nice log too :p Good luck!

I agree with Nick... I dunno what caresheet was read that says reptariums are good for housing snakes. I don't see the advantage as they can be as hard to see into as a rubbermaid anyway.

Good luck with that little guy :)

yeah i thought about that problem quiet extensivly when i was looking at them. then i talked to a man who keeps iguanas in them. you can get the himidty about 70-90 fairly easily buy putting a moist cotten sheet around it. it will stay moist most of the day and keeps the humidity just right. there is also a large pool for soaking provided. i have had no troubled sheds yet. but thanks for the concern! oh and for the temps the room she is in is always at 80. its where i keep all my herps. i have a 160 watt bulb to bring the temps up to a good basking area
