Looks like you will be waiting until at least 2006 before we see any hatchlings from those 2 beauties judging by their size in the pics. The knoblochi aren't that common still & are very underappreciated IMHO. I have been fortunate enough to produce them for the last 2 years & hope to again this year (mine are actually Tarahumara Mtn. kings, but still knoblochi). Hatchlings take their own sweet time to start going, but once feeding they do very well. Hope yours do well for you. Mtns are sweet Kings! Mark

Thanks Mark...I figured it would be at least another year before they would be breedable. I can't wait! :D
some friend told me they are hard to raise...
is it true?
are they like the others king or harder to raise...

I have heard that the babies can be picky eaters, but once they are established, they are very easy to keep.

Babies take their own sweet time to start. Usually at around the 2-3 month mark they just take off. The odd one will start right away, but it usually takes a month or so before they get hungry & then I usually get them started on unscented live pinkies. Mark
P.S. Good Luck again Dave!

Love these beauties!I have a 04 male with an X on it just like yours, mine is about 2/3 down. They are great eaters once the get going.I don't know about anyone else but they seem to have alot of personality compared to other kings.
