View Full Version : Air Canada
Hey folks,
I was wondering if anyone had experience, good or bad, shipping with them? Delta will only go into Toronto and Montreal so we became a "known shipper" with Air Canada.

I use Air Canada exclusively, and aside from being expensive, they are VERY VERY reliable. Best option in Canada.
Thanks Jeff!:)
We shipped a snake yesterday via Delta to Seattle and It kinda sorta got "lost". They couldn't tell us if it made the connecting flight until the plane actually arrived in Seattle. That was our third bad experience with them. So far no harm has come to the animals but the clock is ticking.

CRAIG:
I use both Air Canada and West Jet but Air Canada is year round while West Jet is only during the warmer months and cheaper by half the price for customers who want the savings.
Heh Ive been on the recieving side of both westjet and Aircanada... in toronto at least you cant even compare the two... Westjet is a dumpy warehouse that is cold... while Aircanada is very professional, clean, secure and warm.
Ive had problems with shipments from westjet but no issues with Aircanada

I've never had problems with either WestJet OR Air Canada. However, I like that with AC I can insure the shipment.

I wouldn't touch WestJet simply because 1) They don't insure animals, and that's SCARY for a $5,000 shipment and 2) they "farm out" their courier division to a 3rd party company. So there's twice as much communication and twice as much possibility for f**k ups. No thanks. Air Canada all the way, even though their prices suck a$$.
