I had the camera out today and figured I might as well take some pics of a few of my snakes.

This is my female western hog (At least thats what the guy who sexed her told me, although he didn't seen too confident). She's got some really nice reddish colouration but this picture doesn't really showcase it that well.

My yellow rat - This guy/girl has a crazy feeding response and will eat ANYWHERE, under ANY circumstances. His/her adult colouration is just starting to come in. The pic isn't the greatest but this guy/girl just doesn't stop moving!

Thanks for looking,

I know what you mean about your yellow rat. I saw one at a pet store and it was moving around places where I didn't think it was possible :D. You have a very pretty hoggy :)

I took a while for the hognose to settle down. When I first got her she was very nervous. If I even walked towards her enclosure she would freak out - hissing, puffing up and mock-striking. She's still a bit jumpy now but not nearly as bad. Im sure if I handled her more often she'd settle right down.

The yellow rat, on the other hand, has always be relatively calm. The only thing I have to worry about with him/her is the crazy feeding response!
