well.....from the size of him I'd say a baby rat no bigger than a grain of salt.....lol :D

he looks like he could go for a weaned rat, maybe even a small one.

kinda hard to tell from the picture...

Anything equal to or one and a half times the largest part of the snakes girth is an acceptable size.

If there was something in the picture that gave us some reference as to it's size, that would have helped a lot.
As a general guideline, what David said.
I like to feed my snakes by weight; approx. 10% of the weight of the snake.

If what you feed him does not leave a visible lump for a couple days up it one size. That is how mine are fed. If you are feeding him and an hour later you can't tell he ate, either offer him more than one or go to a bigger size.
