Hi all,

I bought a female royal about 2 months ago, she was 6 months old when I bought her and everything has been fine.

However she hasn't had a crap in about 3 weeks:confused: and im a bit worried?

Ive heard that soaking her might help but didn't, any suggestions??

Mine hasn't crapped in 6 weeks. I hear this is normal. However, I feel your pain. :/

don't worry, she will when she needs to. they don't run on a schdule like humans do sometimes. They will be alright, they know what they are doing.

That is completely normal, you have nothing to worry about.

See? Mine crapped something the size of a big pea about 3 weeks ago, but that was it. No "poop" in 6 weeks... I know it's normal, but food goes in and doesn't come out!

At least spot cleaning is easy. LOL

Balls crap when they need to crap. If you feel the need to put them on a "crap schedule", you'll have no hair left to pull out when they decide to go off-feed. They go when they need, don't worry about it.

"crap schedule" I like that one Mykee!! LOL

Snakes use much of their food so they only have to crap little, I have found the more often they eat the more often they crap is usually the way it is. Some of mine crap weekly, but small craps, another one craps monthly and will eat 4 sm rats in between craps, it is a mess when she goes though!! Love Ball Pythons!! LOL

See, I'm used to my cornsnake, who craps every chance he gets (twice a week, easy), and anywhere he wants (never in the viv). Little bastage. LOL

hahaha, have been pooped on once, I recognize that full look a BP gets when they need to go and don't handle them then. Mine get to looking like a blood python and you know they are going to blow soon.

Often they crap when they shed, btw.

LOL Nina! Care to describe the "look" to me? (corn poop is small, and I hear ball poop is not). LOL

The best I've seen is one of my cornsnakes who crapped right as he was shedding past his vent, and contained it in his shed skin. I wish he'd do that every time - it made for a nice easy cleanup.
