gravid female question

Well, recently I saw some of my leos mating, the thing is I thought she was already gravid. Would they mate even though shes gravid or was I wrong in the first place?

yup, the male will keep pestering her, even when she's not in the mood. Best bet is to seperate them for a week or 2 until you're sure she's gravid!

the females can also retain the males sperm for the hole season.

yep, males will keep on trying :) Thats why it is best to have several females, one is bound to be in the mood :)

Thanks everyone. Right now I have 4 females and a male together, and another male in a different cage for backup. Wish me luck : )
