Yesterday I found my first leo eggs. I have them in a hova-bator set between 80-82f (female) The eggs are in a press and seal contaner with a 1/4 inch hole in the top. They are neted in mostened vermiculite. Dose any one know how often I should be checking the vermiculite for moistness?

if you put them in a container with no air holes, you'll never have to check the vermiculite for moistness. All you then need to do is open the container once or twice a week for air exchange.

Better yet, cover the container with Saranwrap and you'll save yourself the hassle of even having to let air in, as it allows gas exchange while keeping moisture in.

Regular Saranwrap will allow gas exchange? I had no idea this was true! Or is it a certian kind?

regular saranwrap. I use Gladwrap in Australia and it has the same properties.
