I was wondering if it is possible to get an idea of what an adult leo is going to look like by what it looks like as a juvenile. I mean, I know some of the obvious ones can be easy... but say they have black stripes... what will they look like? Do the black dots form just anywhere?

(I hope this makes sense)

Yea generally they don't alter too far from their original patterns, with the exception of patternless ect, where their very light patterns will disappear completely. Most times they will stay close. Everything depends on the morph.

Here is an example of how my leopard gecko changed...

When I got her on December 6th...

Ussually spots come in as they mature but with her the few spots she had dissapeared!

so do the spots normally appear where there are black bands?

Yes normally....
Each morph is different.
Eg. Normals- bands tend to turn into spots
Super Hypos- bands tend to clear away and leave no spots.

Yep, all depends on morph. Ask a breeder for before after pics if possible of parents. Oh and great pics JDouglas, I wish I had pics of mine, but I got my digital camera a year after I had my leos :(
