Our new anthill python that we picked up in Hamburg gobbled down a f/t pinky tonight! Yay! The breeder said she was eating live ones. Luckily she doesn't seem too picky.
The last pic is my favorite. Bon appetit.

I know she's an '04 but I'm not sure how old she is. I emailed the breeder who sold her to me, but I have a feeling I won't be hearing back from him any time soon. It was Don Hamper.

The one you saw was the one I bought. He only had the one, but he said he would be expecting some hatchlings soon.

SHE was only $400. I wasn't planning to buy an anthill that day, but at that price I couldn't resist. Now to find her a mate...

Fully grown, about 2'. And supposedly they only lay 2-6 eggs in a clutch.

What alternatives would an anthill have for regular feedings, beside pinkies?
I imagine the fatty content of newborns would take its toll on their health eventually.
