Eggs On Rocks!!! Help

I just checked my leos and unlike all the other leos I have and have ever had,,,this one decided to lay the eggs on too small rocks! I moved the eggs, rocks and all too the incubator in the normal rubbermaid container. the eggs look good otherwise. I should mention they are stuck pretty good to the rocks and I don't feel they can be removed without desroying the eggs. Does anyone think there will be a problem incubation the eggs with the rocks attatched to the bottom of them?

Well I guess it's worth a try, can't see it really affectting them too much. The moisture and humidity might be enough in a couple of days, and they'll seperate from the rocks on their own? Good luck!

I think it should be fine, but if the eggs do fall off like Clint suggested, I don't think they would be any good, seeing as they would certainly roll ect. I guess you could risk it and try high humidity to get them off (a fogger would work well I bet) but thats a big risk. I think the best thing to do is just leave them be, and hope it all works out! JMO :)

I've piled vermiculite up on the rocks, about 1/3 of the way up on the eggs, so even if they do seperate, they shouldnt fall off the rocks! thanks and I'll let you know what happens

That was a good idea gargoyle.

my only thought about incubating them with the rock still attached is the rock will absorb the warmth and possibly heat up too much? Thats just speculation though.

My 2 leo eggs got stuck to the bottom of there container this year, and they still haven't came off the container and it's only around 2-3 weeks left for incubation.

The rock shouldn't overheat,, it should however actually maintain the temp a bit better! the rocks I'm using do hold heat extremely well, that's why they were in the rubbermaid with them in the first place (and they look great). But if you've got a rock that can generate heat.....I want one LOL thanks for all the help, they still looked good this morning so I quess only time will tell on this one!
