I received Volumes I&II of Venomous Reptiles of the Western Hemisphere today...

and all I can say is WOW. It's going to take me a week or so to go through everything and months to absorb all of the info. The photos are pretty great and show the ENORMOUS diversity of specimens from different areas and species. There are even a few pictures from Edisto Island, SC (where I was born) and a few pictures by Wolfgang Wuster himself.

They might be expensive, but the knowledge gained is worth it.

I takes more than a week. I use mine a great deal. I particularly like the section on Heterodon envenomation :D One of the best sets i ever got.
