View Full Version : Gotta love the blood!!
This girls color just keeps getting crazier all the time!! I liken it to "sunburst" as in the color of some guitars!! She is also one of the only snakes that I can make look good with my crappy HP cam!!

I moved this the the appropriate forum...
If it doesn't get enough traffic, maybe it just needs a little more help :D Great looking blood! You're right, he looks exactly like a sunburst guitar...

Ahh, thought it was, you posted pics of her awhile ago eh? She is fairly interesting looking. I had seen pics of some of his babies on his site awhile go(year or two) and some in person, and it is interesting how the tones develop. I dont agree with hybrids though. Thanks for sharing.

Hey,
I hate to burst your bubble, as wonderful as this girl is and all. But, she is not an intergrade, as the word "intergrade", is reserved for subspecies, that would naturally cross in the wild, where their range come into contact. My point in this short clarification, is that, these two "Species" (*mind you!), do not come into contact anywhere in either of the others range, as the two species hail from completely different islands, and even peninsulas, i.e., the "Red Blood". Borneos are found only on Borneo both east and west of the Kalimantan mountain range including Sarawak to the west, and Red Bloods, whether from northern Sumatra or mainland (peninsula) Malaysia, and surrounding islands in the Malacca Straits (Bangka), do not cross paths with Borneo in any context. So what you in fact have here is what is called a "Hybrid".
If you don't already know it, the entire "Curtus" group has been reclassified and given species specific-classification and are no longer considered subspecies of one another.
JM2C! :grab:
