Who gave you permission to get more cresties? ;)

He reminds me of my green cresty male.
Seems all the green ones I've seen are male, don't recall ever seeing a green female.

Tricked you guys :) He's not new he's one of my first cresteds. Before I cleaned out his enclosure he was phase green. I though it was pretty interesting because I've never seen him turn that green before. So I snapped a pic and took another one after I finished cleaning. It's amazing how polly morphic they really are. an american site sells green fires for 1500 dollars. I'll sick with my phase gecko for now ;) Hard to believe anyone would spend 1500 on a green fire gecko! Maybe I'll send the pic to their site, hee hee

You're lucky Dave! Lucky this is a public forum:) I had a few choice names to call ya:) Once again that's a beautiful Crestie:)

Hilde I've seen one green female for sale on the "other site" at Xmas. I emailed the ppl about it like 2 minutes after they put the ad up. I got a reply from them a week later saying I was too late, they had sold it the day they sent my reply. Go figure:(

The more I see him, the more he looks like the green one I had. Even the few green kids of his that I held back looked almost identical. Too bad I sold him (still kicking myself for that, but it seemed like a good idea to make room for an unrelated male).
Any full body pictures I have of him were taken with my really old camera (film...ewwwww :) ) and they're all fuzzy. This is the only one I have that shows him in his green mood. It doesn't show much of him but you can see the green daytime colour.

I remember 2 summers a go at the june show you were selling some fires...I bought this guy from the port credit table did you do any trades with them?

That's a really nice gecko and photo...you captured a fruit fly in mid flight!

What beautiful crestie(s). I bought a few cresties from Grant (Port Credit Pet Store) and mine actually came from Neil Meister. We ended up with three that purchase and one is an awesome male dark fire, and the other two are female and one is real orange and and the other is a weird patterned one. The last one mentioned is the one who just loves to eat and weighs in between 60 to 69 grams!!! She actually laid her first two eggs a week ago and wow, her eggs are gigantic! We can't wait to see if the hatchlings are way bigger to begin with.

Remember when it is trading time, I have first dibbs on a green one.:)

I was checking out that site a few months ago and the one they had listed at $1500 had a big old SOLD sign next to it. You gotta feel sorry for the sucker who paid that much for a crested gecko, especially now that they are advertising more this season starting at $300. One of my males looks quite green during the day, but turns pretty dark at night when he fires up. I'd love to be able to see other people's collections when they hype up their own color morphs! Just to see if it is a case of odd pic taking skills or if they caught the gecko during the day with washed out colors.

Here is the fire that was given to me, I think it is a green fire, you just can't see the green too well in the pic.
