forgive me if something like this has been posted before, but are there any other simpsons fans out there?

i watch simpsons like 4 times a day, some of the episodes make me laugh so much my heart starts to hurt.

most favorite episodes:
the hank scorpio one, where homer gets a new job in this new town, and ends up working for a maniac who wants to take over the world, Lol, so many funny parts in that one.

least favorite episode:

whacking day

there are to many favorite episodes to list that are funny, but gotta love the lines sometimes..

homer: what are you gonna do! release the dogs or the bee's, or the dogs with bee's in there mouth and when they bark they shoot bee's at you!

mr burns, bart, and smithers:
go's inside and locks the door

homer: he locked the door! i'll show him, *homer rings doorbell and runs away*

Lol, too many to list

I like both...

My favourite simpsons episode is the Pinchy the Lobster one, and my favourite South Park episode is the either the one with Michael Jackson or the one where Cartman wants to go to Casa Bonita.

I'd have to say as good as simpsons is, Futurama has more funny lines.

Everything Dr. Zoidberg says cracks me up.

"Mmmmmm.. these are tastier then an unguarded penguins nest"

Zoidberg: I'll have a look but I warn you, I'm an expert on humans, not robots.
Fry: Er, I'm not Bender, I'm Fry.
Zoidberg: Really? I thought you were the robot.
Fry: Nope, human.
Zoidberg: Alright, alright, spare me your life story.

:)

cheers,
Justin

Better line from Futurama
(when they're discussing dark matter)

I'd have to say Family Guy is funnier than the Simpsons or Futurama, by far...

"Allllllll right!"

"Hey girls, you even been penerated"
"I have a question for you....why are you still here?"
"Hey Meg, 18 yet?"
and the list goes on....

The simpsons, well you gotta go with, The monorail episode, or Max Powers, or the recent halloween specials, funniest s*** out there.

lol, I have to say I love ALL of the above... thank god for reruns that keep me glued to the tv! Simpons is a culteral icon and I can see south park becoming one. Seriously, I loved the one where Timmy and the other kid start a gang only to find out there already is a crypts... that episode was great. Sometimes you find yourself laughing so hard and thinking," oh god, this is SOOOO wrong!"

Stuie rules! Remember when Death comes for Peter and he says to Stuie how he wanted to see how stuie turns out, and stuie says " well I think we all know how that will be" and its such a tame future :P

Oh countless great quotes and stories! Can't mention them all! Fry beating dr zoiburg with his severed arm... megs naked boyfriend, and Ratboy, Dear Ratboy.

:P

hey- there is this new cartoon out. I think it was some time after the superbowl - this dad is FBI or CIA or something - now that show was funny. I never caught the name - I have been looking for it since - does anyone know what it is called?

The new "American Dad" is made by the "Family Guy' folks I think. Simpsons rules of course, the longest running show in history, Nuff Said there I think! I am a total Simpsons fan. I have every single figure/enviroment from the Playmates World Of Springfield Interactive line (they all talk!!!) & the Mattel figures from before. They are now are going to be "done" by MacFarlane starting with 2 box sets of figures this year. Futurama is gret too of course as it is also from the Simpsons folks & the fact that it is in the future they can do anything & get away with it. Cartoons are my favourite & anyone thats ever been to my house can tell you I'm the biggest kid they know! Best Simpsons is when Homer is on Medicinal. 1 of my sig lines is from the end of that show. The rest of my sig is King Of the Hill another favourite of mine, Mark :p

I love The Simpsons. Same with Family Guy!
They have to be the two greatest shows on TV.

oh not towelie :P he was funny at first but not for any long going episodes ... now the underpants gnomes.. lmfao! First we get the underpants, then step two, then we get rich!

Anyone see zero man? I think its a nice effort but waaayy too tame to take off. If they made it edgier and more adult humour it would be good.

Not entirely a coincidence, I always thought the South Park Episode "The Simpsons Did It" was a classic.

The Simpsons is classic, and I hate to say it, but their glory days seemed to have left with Conan O'Brien. A lot of epsiodes are still funny, but it seemed back then every epsiode was a classic.

Some of the storylines now are getting stretched a bit thin and some of the(seemingly) arbitrary "stupid things" that Homer does now just doesn't do it for me. Homer used to do things because he was Homer, now he does silly things to get cheap laughs(or so it seems)...

Regardless, I still watch it religiously, but of MY "Big 4"(Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, and Family Guy), I prefer to watch my DVDs of Family Guy and Futurama over the DVDs of the other two.

I was crushed when they both were cancelled, but was thrilled when I heard Family Guy is making a comeback. And the fact that FOX did everything they could to destroy Futurama except put a bullet in Bender annoys me to no end.

I love the simpsons! I like the episode where all the employers in Springfeild cancelled the drug plans for most of the employees, so Homer smuggles prescriptions in to the States from Canada.
I'm not a south park fan.

Family guy is just a dirtier humour I find, and as I get older, it only gets funnier. I hardly ever watch The Simpsons anymore, probably because I'm always at work. Also a South Park fan.

Favorite Simpsons episode would be a toss up between Homer going to Clown College or when the Simpsons go to New York (although you'll probably never see this episode again since 9/11).

I do notice that any episodes that focus on Lisa usually always suck.
