I picked up a Helix DBS-1000 today at PCPC; I must say that it's a really well made, and simple to use thermostat. Gone are the days of constant tinkering with dimmer switches whenever the house temperature changes. It's the best gadget I've bought in a long time.
Paul.

Paul, I have 6 DBS-1000's in use and I love them all. The best by far in my opinion. I love 'em.

I'll ditto that.. I'm an old dimmer user from way back, plus I have my own electronic controller design, which is used in all my incubators, but last year I first tried a DBS 1000, and now I have them on most of my racks being used on Flexwatt... They are fine little units. I actually can't make that unit for what it costs me to buy it.

They should put a mounting bracket on them with screw holes, for mounting to woodern racks.. I add my own aluminum bracket. That two way tape concept for mounting is about the only bad thing I have to say about them, as tape just doesn't hold anything for very long...
Electronically they are excellent.
