View Full Version : woooo-hoooooo!!
My girl finally ate! After four and a half months.
I tried something different this time. After mister mousie was all thawed out I put him in the microwave for 5 seconds...just enough to warm him up a tinge. He smelled very mousie--pew---but my ball struck immediately and down he went.
yea.

Joey, I read this post and did the same thing (nuke!!) it worked for one of my regular feeders who was being a pain last night! LOL I think I left it 2-3 seonds too long because I heard it "pop"!!
I felt it to make sure it wasn't too hot (through the paper towel) and dropped it in with "da Vinci". He stared at it for a few minutes and then it was gone :)
Next up the real fussy ones, I hope it works :)
hmmmmm, may have to try that with my het pied. He seems to have the attitude of I will strike you then run and hide with his food grrrr!! LOL.
Yea--I'm glad it worked for you, greenman1867!
Anybody ever have this happen? ....My snake struck the mouse hard enough to puncture it's abdomen and when she got almost to the end of her swallowing the pressure made some of the mousies guts fall out. WORST smell EVER.

Oh god yes. My bp smeared mouse guts all over herself and her enclosure. The smell still haunts me to this day.
