Pair of Amazons, long wait for results..*pics*

Here are 2 of the Amazons we own.

The male was aquired recently and had to be dewormed so couldn't put him with the girls.

He's now fine, but will probably be too late for 2005 breeding.

Can't wait to see results with these 2... but guess we'll have to wait 'till 2006-2007 to see what can come out of this pair.

Those ae gorgeous!! As for the lateness of season I would disagree. Put them together now and you'll probably get babies for the fall!! No joke man!! Mine are together right now and will continue to be together until she looks good and gravid. Then and only then will I separate them untill she gives birth. Same every year for me and they breed when they want to. Their enclosure is very large though with lotsa places to hide if they need to get away from one another for a while!!LOL!!

Dave, I love it when people disagree in that way :)

We probably would have put them together anyways just in case, but we didn't have much hope.

I'm very happy to read that there might be better chances then we thought. Now, we'll put them together for sure ! And no later than tonight :)
