Internal Parasites

How do you treat for internal parasites? I have read a few posts that say some people treat yearly, and others only if they notice a weight drop (significant). Do you treat the snake yourself with a liquid in a syringe? Or do you go to the Vet for a shot?

If you live in a big bad city which has outlawed snakes and most other reptiles, where do you take it to the Vet? Or is this really an issue?

I usually just feed the snake a prey item and then inject the deworming solution into the prey as they are swallowing it.

Oh good idea. Thanks I will keep that in mind (hopefully I never need it though)
