View Full Version : amazons new home pics
Just set this up for the almost yearlings. It's two twenty gallon tanks stacked together, fully planted and furnished with lots of climbing branches.

Do you have to disassemble it to clean and water?
I just remove poop as I see it, wash down the glass once a week, and mist everyday. Not too hard at all. Thanks for the replies!!

They'll totally love that! Good stuf! :D
Thanks Jeff, I'm sure they will, they're pretty inquisitive little climbin' guys....Allison
How are the two tanks connected, and how do you access the cage for cleaning?
It looks sweet, congrats. I bet you get some pretty movie-esque views of snakes climbing through the eye in that skull! Reminds me of Indiana Jones.

The tanks are just duct taped together and as there is no gap there is'nt anywhere that the snakes are exposed to the tape, I believe it to be safe. I just remove the lid, which is one of those tight fitting wire type with the hinged door and reach in for cleaning!! The two tanks together are'nt that tall ,for me anyways. Although they are on top of my burms cage so I do have to use a stool!!LOL!!

Thats a really good idea! Must be a pain to reach down and clean though!
Im just using a 30 gal, standing up on its side...Itll do until I have my custom built enclosures done. Also put a clothe around the glass..so they're less prone to strike at the glass.
Here's a quick pic.
