Tim from T&J Reptiles mentioned this burm in a post a while ago but had no pics. Snake was delivered to Vernon from Kelowna in the back of a pick up truck in the middle of a nasty cold snap in it's "cage" The snake is probably close to ten feet long and actually lived in this cage 2.5'X2.5'X3'tall. That it is even alive is a miracle!! It now has what looks like a knee in it's spine as well as at least five layers of stuck on old shed that Travis is still working on!! He has gotten it to eat a rabbit and it has defacated so somehow everything seems to be working on the inside!! Well I'll shut up now and let the pics do the rest of the talking!! Some people!!

Travis is a great guy always taking in burms. Like Nessy! Man that was a huge snake. I never got to see this snake. It was just desribed to me but you can definatly see what he meant by a knee shape in the back bone. Hopefully it will do as well as it can in his care. TB

Some people are just completely oblivious!! I wish I knew who they were I'd lock them up in the same cage for a few years and see how they turn out!!

Yeah,Travis is the "Burm Savior"!! This hobby needs more people like him and less like the original owners.

That's a sad deal. I hear about it happening to burms more than any other snake. They're cheap prices and good tempermants are almost a curse.

thats true...cheap, docile and big is a bad mixture for innexperienced keepers!
