I saw it a while back, it was pretty good. Nothing new to the movie industry.

I didnt like it. The story line was a bit confusing. the only parts I like were:
In the beginning when yoko was pulled into the ceiling by lady/girl thing LOL
Basicly when every person died.
This was actually funny to me, but you know the sound the lady/girl thing made, while they were in the office building?.
And when thye work person found yoko....lol without the jaw:p

I agree with PeterM.......craptacular :P
In fact, the only horror movie I've seen that was worse than the Grudge was the first Jeepers Creepers.
And yes, I am a scary move fanatic too :)

I cannot BELIEVE I am seeing people comparing the Grudge to Jeepers Creepers... this definitely makes me a sad panda. http://www.pitbullforum.com/images/smiles/eyes.gif
I think you guys should at LEAST check out the 1st or 2nd original Japanese versions. IMO the 2nd is spookier. I won't give up hope :D
im sorry that girl is creepy as hell and everything but the movie IMO was really really STUPID:(

Most people thinks it's bad because it's different. The movies made in Japan have a different style then ones done in North America here. I thought it pretty good. It was just different then what I'm used to in a horror movie. If you had grown up in Japan believing in those stories behind the movie it would scare the heck out of you.

Wow, am I ever going against the grain here. I LOVED this movie. I thought it was creepy as all hell, and I liked that there was no gore - I love conceptual horror.
I think it was a complete waste of time, you'd have more fun watching paint dry!!LOL!!
