Hi, recently aqquired an African Green Bush Snake (philothamnus semivariegatus), approx. 1 year old.
There isn't much info around on these snakes, if anyone has any, or knows of sites with content about, please post them.

Thx.

JD - I got him here in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, at the one pet store here I trust. The selection in this city is awful, probably since they have bylaw's prohibiting everything except a select few colubrids.
I believe he (my herp guy) got him by chance from one of the southern Ontario breeders he deals with, I will ask him when I see him next to confirm, then get back to you. I'm pretty sure you would have to go and get them though, with the exotics laws on shipping. Whereabouts do you live?

Cheers, Bill.

I'm in mississauga. They are bylawed just about everywhere because they are somwhat venomous... I keep a few rear fanged species. but the bush snakes i have been looking to get for a while now.
