Those are some awesome little additions, the boa especially appears to have really nice colouring :)

The two most common reasons for soaking are mites or dehydration. I would just give her some time, and not disturb her for a few more days. Even though you can't see them, she may still have mites. When my snake had mites I'd handled her, fed her and owned her for a month before I finally saw them. If she does have mites, search ssnakess.com for Nix, it's a cheap, safe and easy way to get rid of them.

Good luck :)

If I recall correctly from my corn snake days, one way to identify motleys is by the absence of a "checkered" belly pattern...

I think you're correct Ryan. I just checked and my motley has a plain belly.

Nice snakes, Amel is not a Motley, Anery is. For the Boa check temps too, if its too hot it might be the cause of all the soaking. Some snakes just soak also. Lots do it after meals as the "bath" seems to help them relax & digest, I have snakes that almost always poop in the water. Keep monitoring for mites & if you discover a single one, treat all your snakes as they were infested as they probably already are. I suggest quarantine for all new specimens & a NIX treatment as part of that quarantine will prevent any mites from ever establishing in your collection. Keep monitoring to make sure, chances are things are OK but if not you want to "nip things in the bud". When its soaking use a magnifying glass & stare at its head for a while. If there are mites you will see them on the head or floating while the snake soaks. Good Luck with the new ones, Mark
