View Full Version : Photo Contest, VOTE now!!!
Okay first of all, I want to thank everyone for sending thier photo's to me and taking part in this contest!! It was VERY hard to narrow it down to 10 from 50+ pictures!! We really had a hard time but I think we did a good job.. So, it's now time for you guys to vote on which pic is the best!!
All I ask is that you use the poll feature for voting and if your pic is in the 10 listed, please, keep it to yourself. Anyway, here are the pics in no particular order.

I can't decide!!!! They're all great! :)
I'll have to ponder my decision some more, but whatever animals are my fav, will probably influence the decision. I know I should be judging the photo, but like I said..........They're all spectacular!!!

When will the winner be announced?
The suspense is killing me!
All the pics are awesome.

Really like the frog, the frilled, and the bearded dragon.
I think the bearded dragon is the most underated picture going right now, it is a very good picture, but maybe beardy pics have won too many contests in the past or something. As far as quality goes, that should be in the top 3 for sure.

Hey Ryan, my wife insisted that I second your comment about the bearded dragon! She really likes that one too :)

Yes, very nice photos to all!
Since it is a photo contest, and not a popularity contest...
I tried to pick the best composed shot. Cameras these days are so good, it is really up to subtle things like lighting and composition that sets a photo apart from ones that could be taken by anyone holding an expensive camera.
The beardie is excellent for the clarity and radience of it...
I chose the frog as best. With the natural setting and sunlight, its like we are taking a sneak peak at its private world...
To whomever took that one, I really enjoyed it!

I agree one hundred percent with Dragoon. I chose the frog as well, a long time ago :p
I too am guilty of voting for the Frog.. :D

Cool Post Matt ;)
The ratler got my vote .

what type of snake is that in numbr #6

I also agree with Dragoon. Although one thing i thought of is how hard it would be to get these individual photographs. The frilled, frog and the crot all appealed to me as the 'hardest' shots. Then i took into consideration on Dragoons points and chose the rattler.

I too, voted for the rattlesnake because it was a more dangerous photo than the frog, or bearded dragon, or the frilled.
Danger Danger Danger :) hehe

The frog is just to natural for me. To get that close and for the lighting to be so perfect. That is an acomplishment in itself.
#2 is the best.

Thanks everyone,
My friend Larry deserves most of the credit though, he was the one taking abuse from the savanna a few feet away while the frilled was doing it's impression of an umbrella.:D
