Won't breed!!

Hey,

Last night I put my female in my males' tank to see if they would breed but the male doesn't do much... When I first put the female in he was all excited and would vibrate his tail, the female would walk away and he wouldn't insist. He hasn't tried to get a hold of her... only vibrating the tail... They are both around 2yrs old, what can I do to encourage them to breed?

Chances are they did their thing while you weren't watching, sometime during the night. If he vibrated his tail, he knows what he's supposed to do, and she knows he's ready and willing. It doesn't take them long, you could easily have missed it all.

Hes already been with this female before with no result and he was with a tangerine albino for 1 year and she was never gravid... Does he give it to easily?? :confused:
