Its fundraising time for the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre (http://www.kawarthaturtle.org), a facility located in Peterborough, Ontario to help native species turtles. I'm throwing out a challenge to the herp community to help raise funds for this program. Membership forms can be found on the website or you can talk to me at the November show in Toronto. We won't have a table at this show, but hope to have our displays set up for the next one.
Make sure you mention ssnakess.com on your membership so we can keep track of our supporters. Thanks a lot.

Try Adobe Acrobat reader. It worked for me.

You need Adobe Acrobat to open up the membership. I guess I should put up another version that doesn't require Acrobat. If you can't open it, I can e-mail you a copy.
Memberships:
Individual: $10
Family: $25
Corporate: $100
any donations appreciated
I've just recieved an advance copy of the Dec./Jan. issue of WILD magazine (a wildlife magazine for kids), which has an article on the trauma centre.

OK, silly question, will you take U.S. funds?

I'm not sure what the conversion rate is right now, but I think $10 US will get you a corporate membership. LOL
Yes we will take US funds. I think you might be able to buy a money order at the bank in Canadian funds if you want. I know we can get US money orders in Canada.
Thank you for your interest, its nice to see support from our neighbours to the South.

I'm sorry, I don't know what the by-laws are in Lindsay. There is a store in Lindsay called Tails n' Teeth who deals with a lot of exotics, maybe they can help you.

Stewart you know I'm good for 10 bucks at the show!!!
I think when causes such as the trama centre come up people should throw a few bucks there way.
Think about all the times you've seen squashed turtles at the side of the road. Now you can do something about it!
It's only 10 bucks.... that's only 20 pinkies, 15 fuzzies, or 10 adult mice.
Please give!
