I'm sorry I'm just sooo excited I didn't know where else to go!?

I just got my Female to take a rat!!!! I was getting myself worried that she wasn't going take one, and it would take months.... but she did in only three attempts!!!!

Sorry I'm a loser... I didn't think it would be this exciting but it is:D

now I hope she sticks to them;)

When I was younger, I remember one year the area I lived in went through a total rat and mouse shortage- you couldn't find anything anywhere and when you did the price was absurd.

Finally I put in two baby hamsters, each about the size of a toonie (for a 450g female bp). They didn't really have their eyes open yet. The snake literally stared at them for forty minutes, tilting her head back and forth. She never stopped following them around as but never struck. Then finally something set her off and she grabbed one. No biting cuzz they didnt really have teeth yet- but lemme tell ya somethin you should keep in mind if you ever feed a live fuzzy hamster:

A hamster can squeeze under a door. That means they can take pressure.
It took the snake (I sweaaar) over five minutes to suffocate this animal- and the whole time it was screaming...

I Prekilled the second hamster, which the snake ate like a bag of doritos, guess it figured out it likes hamster. Never had to do that again...

Well... heres an update.... My female just sucked back her second Rat... 2 for 2.... So from others experience... would one say shes hooked?.... I hope so!!! I havn't fed my male in 3 weeks and is going to shed soon... so after that hopefully he'll take a rat.... I hope so... cause he aint gettin anything else... unless it becomes a health issue....

I't is really exciting for her to go 2 for 2!!!! :)
