Great looking cages!
Question on them though..... how well does the particle board in the back hold up the the humidity and how in the world are you keeping the humidity levels up in the cages with a "wood" that is as absorbent as particle board is.

damn nice!!! i love the frame work! :)
Thanks guys for all the compliments .. lol Ive worked my *** off for those cages .. funny thing is i can built any of those in one FULL days work .. and a wad of cash...
Stormya .. The particle board does not absorb any water if properly sealed .. I use 3 coats of varathane .. let it dry out for a good two weeks, I seal off all edges with a non toxic silicone .. or the one that off gases the least .. I have no problem at all with humidity .. I also have automatic misters in the cages that require higher humidity set on timers ofr each...
Jeff .. I love the framewwork too - hence the reason why all my cages have ben built the same way .. eastetically pleasing and not too hard to make and also not too expensive..
Tx again everyone

My compliments Dom,
they are simply beautiful, and so functional, a job well done,
Great enclosures Dom, what do you use? glass or plexiglass. Also what animals are in there?
I use plexi - personally I like it ..
Hmm .. the large tall one is a pair of coastal carpets (seperated in the middle at the moment) .. the top right one is a pair of ball pythons .. seprated in the middle as well .. the middle right one now has a pair of Junle parepet python and the bottom one right now has a water monitor (wich is leaving me). I will house a 2 fot blood..
Thanks for all the kind words..

Wow, very nice! How do you heat them at night? I'm assuming you don't leave those lights on 24/7. Looks like a very good use of space!
Fade
Alll my lights are on timers, so yes they are turned off at night ..
They all have there own heat pads for their basking spot and the enclosure temps are controlled by the room temps..
Tx guys!

Very nice!
there nice, but when I built them I was not too bright .. I never though I had to move them .. so thy were not only assembled in one piece but actually completly assembled in my room .. so once moving them .. hmmm they di not move lol
If you look really closely youl see where the cages are cute in two and reasembled .. Its convinient now but it was a pain to figure out how to move em..
