Genetics question

Is the gene that makes burms, granite phase burms a recessive or dominant gene?
i would guess recessive but I am hoping dominant :P

they call it recessive, but the hets look markedly different from normals; you can go through a clutch of possible hets and pic out the hets, so i'd say it would be more accurate to call it a co-dom.

While most hets do look different from normals, I have seen het granits without the distinct patterning. It is a recessive trait.
