Some people might laugh but the way I switched mine when they refused a wet thawed mouse was by slowly defrosting it in the fridge over night than putting it on top of the toaster oven while I was cooking my own meal. Than I just gave it to them. The body was warm and the fur was dry and they liked it the very first time. After that I always defrosted it over night than left it on top of the enclosure to warm up a bit. They take it right from the tongs now. I never had a problem. I guess they just liked it warm. Mind you I'm only feeding two snakes, might be different if I had to feed a dozen!

You can also put them in a ziplock bag to keep them dry. it takes longer than you think to get your thawed rodent HOT.....i use a temp gun to make sure temps are near 100 degrees
