I was offered an adult female Haitian tree boa and an adult male
Haitan tree boa both for $200.00. The female is absolutely beautiful, the male was in the middle of a shed but looked good otherwise. Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal for this type of boa?

Why is that a total rip off? Even in US prices it's not bad for a breeding pair........unless Humphrey want them himself ;) I love mine they are an interesting species for sure. TB

I agree I think Humphrey wants them for himself? So I will tell him
a Haitian gentlemen offered them to me while I was visiting his island. Now that I told him where all Humphrey needs to do now
is go to Haiti and figure out which gentleman.
As they say on the island,
Blessed Man!!!!!!!!!!

I was jokin around :p Hmm if it was in Haiti you would think they would be cheeper. ;) And you would have to figure out how to bring them back. You could duct tape them to your leg and hope they don't bite you in the........:D

This is one of those classic cases where the latin is better.. I think this thread is talking about two completely different species.
What are Haitian tree boas... ?? Do you mean Epicrates striatus striatus.
The last pics are Tropidophis haetianus. Are they eating for you?

Good stuff! Trops aren't the easiest boas to work with
Stockwell : Tell me about it! they either eat or they don't, but they always seem to be the same regardless of what they eat. Quiet natured, and lazy! LOL
