hey everyone, a quick question.

im trying to take pics of my snake and ive got my cam set on economy quality and the smallest pic size and its still to big to put on the forums. how can i make it smaller??

Create an account at photobucket.com . The basic account is free and the program will automatically resize your images and provide a link that you can paste into your threads.

you can also use your free gallery space here on ssnakess.com.. Just click on 'Gallery'..

Always use your camera on full res mode. Then edit them with a photo editing program like Photoshop etc.

First crop the image so that just the parts you want to show are in the frame, then make a "save for web' copy of your image. Any good program will allow you to set the JPEG compression level. You can compress the file until it's small enough for uploading. You should also set the image size to about 600x400 pixels or smaller.

Then upload the pics to a gallery, Ssnakess.com is great...also Photobucket is a good choice as well. Then put the photo into your posts with [img] tags rather than using the 'attach image' option.
