Sorry to sound demanding, but I'm on my way to look at an unsexed adult Surinam BCC. I'm leaving in about ten minutes. Does anyone know the subcaudal scale count for probing males and females? Should you even probe it or can you go by spurs alone? All my others were sexed before I got them. Is it roughly 2-4 for females and 7-10 for males?
Thanks so much and sorry to sound demanding, I'm just in a huge rush and I did a search to no avail.

Boidkeeper:
Just got an email saying you replied to the post in the BCC forum. I didn't get a chance to read it though before the thread got deleted. Thanks for the reply though. I found the answer I was looking for before I left. I ripped apart my whole house looking for my boa constrictor manual. I finally found it (in the last place I looked of course) and it said 2-5 f and 7-12 m.
When I got there I knew it was a male : ( as soon as I looked at it. Then when I checked out the vent to probe it and see what the spurs looked like, I didn't even bother probing it. This guy had a pair of size 12's on his feet! It was really disappointing, because he was really nice looking and pretty high pink. I think I might still get him and pair him up with my super high pink circleback. Or if anyone else on here is looking for an adult male, let me know. On a good note, he's got a female Brazillian BCC that I'll probably get, but it's just a youngin'.
Thanks Again

Of course you found it in the last place you looked, why would you keep looking after you found it? (sorry, to tempting)

Huh? I didn't keep looking. I reread the post and it doesn't say that I did either. I thought I maybe screwed up typing or something but I don't think I did. Please explain. I'm not trying to be rude either.

I know it was, but I don't see where it says that I did keep looking.

Just a little sarcasm. :D I just meant when we are looking for something we always find it in the last place we look, why would you keep looking after you've found it?

If you didn't find it in the last place you looked, then you would continue looking. I think.

Humphrey, it doesn't mean your stupid, you were just looking at it from a different angle. I only said it to make you laugh, not to make you look stupid. Lighten up!

I know you were trying to make my laugh, and you did! And you weren't trying to make me look stupid, you didn't have to, I did a damn fine job of that on my own! : P
Hump.
PS If I got any lighter, I wouldn't exist!
