Dwarf panther is usually refering to Furcifer cephalolepis they are also known as the Comoro Island Dwarf Chameleon

http://www.adcham.com/html/taxonomy/species/fcephalolepis.html

Rudis or Sternfeli is from kenya, Uganda, Rwanda ans is usually refered to as Mountain Chameleon

http://www.adcham.com/html/taxonomy/species/chrudis.html

That is a feeding container i made is a plactic tub with a bole in the lid and a peice of mesh glued to the back so crix can run around on the mesh and Silvan can hit at active moving crix, with that cage having large holes its the next best thing i can have to free range lol.

ive been trying to figure out a way to do that.. i have quitre the same mesh... would you please post a better pic of it.. and maybe a better discription, id like to to build one.. do you get alot of escapees...

thank you very much

This is a common setup which I also have had success with. Collide’s design is basically the same idea but the hole she constructed seems like it will contain feeders like crickets better.
Like anything else with a cham, be patient and eventually it will catch on that there is food in there.

thats a grteat site.. how has your setup been for escaping crix

Collide

Yes exacally the same idea just a differnt type of container. Crix do occasionaly jump out but when u have a cham or more then one lol u just have to accept the fact that this happens. Its one of the things u put up with for the love of the creature. but yea i like it better then cup feeding I also have a plant growin somewhat in front of it not blocking but makes him think about how to get the crix. bla bla yea anyway check out that link Roo gave exact same thing basically.

Ahh ... so the container itself sits on the outside of the enclosure. I would think the whole premise behind that is to save space in the acutall enclosure and to easily replenish food with opening the cage? You clever Collide!
