This big girl is already late in her ovulation and still huge.
She was bred to our male Jaguar so hopefully a good clutch.

We have also had one other female bred to our Jaguar male ovulate.(shes doing great Dom)

More Canadian Jaguars, and maybe Tiger Jaguars....only
time will tell.

Gorgeous coastal! Love the striping!

I was under the impression that tiger coastals had very wide dorsal stripes with no breaks, like Anthony C?

Katt,
The striping can be variable, but the wide stripes like Anthonys
are the most sought after. The other thing to look for is an almost patternless head.
I have another tiger like this one, thats probably a younger sibling.
I'm also working with an unrelated tri-stripe female that has a very dark northern look to it, as well a marked head pattern.

This being the first year I bred this line well see what she throws.

When I hear tiger coastal I think of this.

This is Yasser of Spitfire's animal. Credit goes to him.

Anthony's killer Tiger coastal

I also refer to Anthony's page on tigers.
Tiger Coastals (http://www.acreptiles.com/pythons_carpet_tiger.htm)

What I see is a well marked head, like a jungle. Wide wide dorsal striping and increased yellow over all. The head markings are a dead give away.

I have a pair striped (tri-striped), that look exactly like your female, but I don't think either qualiify as tiger coastals. When I first acquired them, I thought them tigers, but was soon corrected by Anthony and others.

My male, Dijon, who has excellent striping.

My female, Mustard, who is not quite as striped.

I did want to add, that regardless of tiger or not, I do think that the striping will increase the already fantastic look of jag's. I'd love to get a jag, but oh, wishful thinking.

has anyone ever breed at tiger to a jag befor, I'd love to see what they produce, is the jag going to be dominat over the tiger or maybe some new unsual combo will occur, I can't wait to hear the results, all the best luck, maybe this year I'll be able to afford a jag too, I hope so!!!!

Will Leary did last year but got only 3 babies and one Jaguar
in the clutch. It's an incredible looking animal, but to small
a clutch to really see what these to morphs can do together.
