It's a harsh reality to live with, and for most of us, it has already sunk in, but for those of us that have the least bit of hope, it's time to let go and say goodbye... The season is likely over.... And now, we have proof..

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a few tears to shed.. :(

(These pics were taken at the West Edmonton Mall Yesterday. Damn, I wish I was there..)

Ah well... I'll just have to make do with our new ECHL team I guess... go Salmon Kings :p Maybe tomorrow night's game will be the end to the 18 game losing streak? Longest in ECHL history? LOL.

If they don't have a contract by this week (don't hold your breath) you can count on NOT seeing NHL Hockey until January of 2006...

Good, these idiots cannot face the fact that the ratings, and therefore money, are not comparable to any of the major sports, and many fringe ones as well. They wont accept a cap, but will play overseas for a fraction of what an average player makes. Makes sense....

Good on ya NHLPA.....:medtoothy

Locally after Calgary did so well last year the Hitmen are the big attraction, looks good on all the younger teams all the way down. Helps eliminate some couch potatoes forcing them to support minor hockey etc. (as they should) for their fix LOL Mark
P.S. I'll miss the "Red Mile" & all its ahh... Perks : )

I can think of better places to jump in those pics!!!

On a side note, I just heard that the players are willing to go for a soft cap.. So, who knows.. 28 game season?? Could be interesting...

Tim B:
Who's your team?
Sixers and Nets are my two favs.
but I'm a fan of every pretty much every team's cheerleaders!
When's hockey gonna get with the program, and get some lovely ladies jumping around in short skirts?

28 game season would probably be helpful for Toronto since they are so old. If there isn't a season at all I wonder what The Maple Leafs are going to look like when hockey starts back up.

HumphreyBoagart the Nets? I liked them when Jefferson wasn't injured and they didn't have that baby Carter on their team. I hope philly beats them tonight.

Personally I like Toronto and Denver... but I think I'm going to stop watching them if they trade Rose and Marshall and dont get anything in return.

It would definatly benefit them.. As far as next season go.. If there's no NHL this season, Rumor has it that Roberts and Nieuendyk will be playing in the NLL for the Rock.. As well as Shanahan. The team im worried about is Boston.. They have atleast a dozen players NOT under contract and if the season started tomorrow, they'd be SCREWED..

Yeah I'm with you on that Carter puss. Don't worry he won't be playing much, he'll be too busy faking injuries!
As far as Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshell go, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. I hope they trade them. I hate the raptors and it makes me so sad to see two of my favorite college players go to such a crappy team!
Who are they talking about trading them to?
