:) Well, I posted a pic or two of this girl before, but she just gets me everytime I take her out, so I thought I'd share a couple more.

Just for comparison, a pic of one of my "normal" AFTs...

Yup, that's definitely orrrraaaaannnnnge, and I like :)

Just out of curiosity - does she have white toes or feet, or is it just the way the picture turned out? I have one that's got white toes, pure white, not stuck shed. The feet in your picture kind of look like the same thing, just more of it.

I just went to check if she does in fact have white feet and I found that she does. Kinda neat as I haven't noticed that before.

Kevin: In good time I'll have that amel, in good time.

Thanks Jon. The females have done quite well so far this year, with 19 eggs to date. Most of my females are still only on their first or second clutch of the season too, so there's still a ways to go.

Best of luck with your breeding projects as well!

My girls started all on their own this year. Usually they don't develop folicles before I introduce a male (I keep males on their own outside of the breeding season). Just before Halloween this year I noticed a few of the older girls looking a little too plump.........I was very surprised and not prepared, but threw males in the groups with folicles right away........They started laying the first week of December, but the first year females are just starting now. Needless to say, I started out the season with more infertile eggs than I'm used to, but such is life :)

yep, turns out that four of my eggs were infertile as well, but that's not too bad. Another clutch from most of my females is due in another couple weeks. All the other eggs seem very healthy, so I would say things have gone well so far. Just finished my website too (the link is in my signature).
