Hey,
Here are my new babies, just hatched on 2/3/5. They are off-spring to Tank, the now deceased son to a Tim Meade sire. There were 4 total in the clutch hatched.
This little guy/girl, was the second to hatch and is so far my favorite little black. The rest of the clutch can be seen below. The pumpkin head was the first to hatch-out.

Hey,
Thanks bloods! I'm actually keeping these little ones (couldn't part w/ them!), as the blood line is one that is kind of defunct, so to speak, with the exception of the few that were sold off sometime between last year and now. The sire to these babies died unexpectedly, in August, and so that is the impetus for my wanting to keep all 4 babies from this clutch. I hope to reintroduce this line (Tim Meade etc.) back with some luck. At least future off-spring 1/4 Tim Meade if you know what I mean. The mom (Dam) to these guys is also, very dark and was imported by Bob Clark before I got her from someone else last year. They made some babies together.

So far everyone who has replied to this thread is Canadian. Can you tell that black bloods are hard to find up here? :)

Hmm......when do they get here?:)
Awesome looking! Those guys are great! Only 4 in the clutch? Looks like that pale headed one will become an orange head!
You bred fairly early hey? Thanks for sharing!

Hey,
I would say early! they bred during the throes of summer and produced this clutch. I threw them together to see what would happen, and bam! first two days together they were inseparable. The male only bred her for 48 hours after which he showed no interest. But, that was all it took.

Hey,
Thanks for the kind words. I can't wait to see what they turn into. Hopefully, very nice looking adults. I'll be putting this group into the breeding project of blacks. Did anyone say, dominate the black blood line? LOL! Kidding!
