An Incubator :)
I think you answered your own question, I would use an Incubator to "incubate" your eggs lol

I use ceramic soil, the European version is Seramis. Most people tend to use perlite, vermiculite or peatmoss.

Vermiculite. Isn't that what all the books say?

If the vermiculite is drying out too quickly, you are doing one of two things wrong.
A) You have too much ventilation.
or
B) You don't have enough water and/or medium.
Or both, I guess. :)
