Should I help it??

My egg deflated (leaked out the fliud stuff) like 48hrs ago. Nothing has happened should I help it (split the egg), and not be suprised if it's dead or leave it?? It leaked out of a little tiny pin prick, not a slit. I'm never been home when my other actually hatched out, so I'm unsure what to do.

I'd slit it. Chances are that that little one has died.

Well I slit the egg and took the crested out. It looks dead but I'm going to leave it out for a while just to see. Maybe it was just not fully ready when the egg leaked. Who knows. It still has the yolk attatched to it and some yellowy pussy looking stuff came out too, it that normal??
