Mark Isbell has always had very cool fish. We share a common interst in the prehistoric fishes – and Mark’s place is like a candy store for those who appreciate cool fish. None of my fish pictures turned out very well, sorry – gotta figure out how to take decent fish pictures.

This is an albino bichir. All bichirs are very cool, but I really like these ones.

This is some kind of Gar, believe it or not. Bright yellow with black dots – very cool fish!

Holy moly! That albino bichir is so cool! I didn't even know they had albinos. Definitely a cool fish!

I'm a bit of a Bicher (Polypterus) guy. I have both a regular & albino Senegals (Senegalus), Armoureds (Delhezi), Ornates (Ornatipinnis) & also a Speckled One (Retropinnis) or it could be a Marbled (Palmas). Need to grab some new Rope or Reed fish soon too. Last one got killed by a big Delhezi I used to have. It was these Jurassic fishes that orginally got me into snakes, Mark
P.S. oh the Gar is a one of a kind thing up here (according to all the various fish folk I've talked to so far) & is beleived to be a Florida Spotted Gar, they are the only ones I've seen pics of Yellow ones all others are natural like

Same collection as me. Although I just lost my female senegal which was pumping out eggs for me... :(

But that gar is something, very rare pattern. Something very desirable
