New here and thirsty for info.

THE STORY

Got my 1st Ball on Dec 8th 2004

From SuperPet in Belleville (yes yes I have learned now that that was not one of my smartest moves, buying from a large chain store)

Enclosure
DAY
81F cool side
92F warm side
50-55% humidity
Night
76F cool side
85F warm side
50-55%

30 gallon tank
1 water dish
2 hides
coconut fiber bedding

since I have had fluffy (my BP) he (and I use the term loosly as I truly don't know the sex) has not eaten, he has not lost any weight and has shed 1 perfect shed for me.
so this might as my research shows just be a seasonal thing
but the store fed him live and I know enough to relize that live does tend to fight back so I have been trying to feed him F/T
obviously with no luck does anyone have any suggestions to get him to feed on the F/T

great snake though and lovin taken care of him

thank huge

Try feeding him p/k rats first. That way the rat can't 'fight back'. A good way of getting a live eater to become a f/t eater is to get him eating p/k rats first and then making the switch to f/t afterwards. This has worked for me with my BP. Good luck, hope this quenches your thirst for info :D

the sack method works well. all you need is a sack, a rat and a hard surface.
