Finally a father

Well after 1 month and 3 weeks I'm finally a daddy :) My first leopard gecko popped out tonight and it was the smaller of the first clutch. I figured t he other one was going ot burst first but I checked today to see if the new eggs I put into another trey were holding up moisture wise. Well I saw a little head poppin out and the eggs was moving around. So I looked in about an hour later and there was a little one running rampant over her sisters unhatched eggs. So I snapped a bunch of photos, got her into her own cage and sat there with a big smile on my face. There will be pics up of her tonight.

Congrats! Still waiting myself. First couple of eggs were slugs so i'm only about 3 days into he next batch :)

Will have them up tomorrow. I uploaded them on my girls computer and she passed out when she got home so she didn't send them to my PC. I guess I'll take some pics with the crap camera tonight but the good ones will be up tomorrow promise :)

Yeah I'm a man now :) Pics will be up a litte after 3 when she gets out of work.

And the feeling of the f irst egg is great! Will be checking on the other egg in a few minutes. That would be great to have them in succession.

Hey man, congrats! I remember when my first egg hatched, it was the best feeling in the world. I wouldn't take my eyes off the incubator after that. I wanted to catch the second egg hatching.

Thanks, and you're right about not being able to take your eyes off the incubator. They hatched while I left though :(, maybe in 3 weeks I'll catch atleast one hatch.
