The one I used to have was fairly tame and it would NEVER sit that still.

every time i rub his belly he gets really really calm so that I can do just about anything with him...

I just have to hold him up with my fingers under his front arms and then lay his back on my palm.

When ever my mom sees him doing that she thinks he is dead...

Do you have any pics of the CWD normaly.

lol awsome pic! very cute dragon, looks like he's enjoying himself lol.:) I wish my cousins was that nice all it ever did was hiss at me when I tried to pick her up:S oh well.

jsut to let you know when u lay a WD on its back like that its unable to keep breathing. it may seem like he/she is sleeping but its really not healthy fo rthem

Reptiles are missing a diaphragm, so breathing when upside down is at best extremely difficult, or most likely impossible. They only reason they don't suffocate in a few minutes is that they don't need to breathe as much as warm blooded animals do (lower oxygen demand), it's a bit of a safety margin, just long enough to right themselves again.
