EVERYONE:
Last night was a fun night going through a bunch of camera cards and deciding what photos to keep and see how many bad ones with to much flash or not any light or whatever. I need to learn this camera better and try some manual features. But enough on that I loaded up some photos on Odin the Snow Boa and think this one is pretty sweet.
Here he is enjoying the spa life :D
Sitting in his water dish in shed cycle right after a meal. Both him and a few other boas seem to always wash up after a rat meal.

So this Boa is part of your collection then? I'd like to see some more pics against a dark background for contrast. Breeding him this year or is he big enough? I used to own 1/2 of a Snow but I let Big Dan buy me out as I don't have much interest in Boas (never even usually read the Boa forums). How are your "Coral" Albinos doing that came from my old pair? For ugly parents they sure produced some nice babies. Sorta wish I kept a few of the little ones sometimes (I had 6 for a while). It will be interesting to see what they produce this year at Dan's, along with the Snow. Good luck this year breeding yours (if thats the case) Mark

Thanks, both me and Micheal hope she is as well. He got her from some breeder in USA not well known but was said to be a DH Snow that they bought and needed to sell. He got it dirt cheap has alot of markings to be Het Albino and kinda looks DH Snow from some other USA breeders I have seen. So right its a guess, I don' t mind trying Odin on this girl, worst case scenario on a successful litter is a bunch of Hets, best case would be a Snow :D
Crossing fingers for a healthy decent litter is all I can ask for for now.

I'm betting you can get a picture of the snow on a manitoba newspaper, faster than you can the sunglow.

Or, maybe you can't... - that boa does look pretty big to me too.
Is it at your facility? Why not prove it, if it is?
What bothers me most, is if I was going to send our het for snow out there, what would you have done with it. If you don't have a breedable male snow boa, then my guess is you'd have tried to breed our het to something else, or sent back a different snake.
This is why I'm ticked, and I think you owe it to me proving you have the snake at your facility, as you had promised me that you did a long time ago when we first talked about the loan.

If there not his boas than whose are they? Why would someone post pics of someone else's snakes? I haven't been to the forum lately and don't know what this is about?
Tony are the snakes yours and can you prove it and put an end to this please so we can go on admiring you boas without wondering if they are really yours?

EVERYONE:
First off I apologize to the community that this thread and the Sunglow (hot topic) thread went the way it went. That being said I think I must bring something up that started all this negativity towards me. There is no need to bother to reply back to it because I am about to prove something as a whole from a direct manner, that has to stop this once and for all.
The below information must be seen and agreed upon that this member opened this for discussion and has made an assumption both here and on the Sunglow, with a tornado affect. Yet he then states something that says I am right, so you all go ahead and decide for yourselves on this proof and then relate it to this thread and the Sunglow thread. Do I really need to prove anything when the accuser himself has nothing to state. A negative and a positive statement in one and still the membership here doubt me?
Below is the animal in question and commented on by the accuser.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v520/BOAS_N_PYTHONS/02%20-%20BOA%20MORPHS/odinsnowboa011.jpg
Below is the accuser stating his assumption.
"The most recent picture of the snow boa, was taken with the camera you use for all your other pictures of boas you actually have at your place, which makes me think either you just got the snow, or it is a picture of a different snow that you took, some other time.
I'd like to know when you took the picture, but oddly enough, there are no dates on any of the pictures you actually take, but I can tell which ones were taken with the olympus camera you like so much.
odinsnowboa011 Olympus c4040Z - no date"
http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62751&perpage=15&pagenumber=2
Then this statement is said.

On a personal note, I did forget to give details of that photo. So I will now. As some of you may know that have kept current with my posts about this boa will agree with is that I am trying to see if he is ready to breed, I feel he is young. As stated in my quote I do not like to breed males to young or small. That photo was of him in shed sitting in a grey Rubbermaid shoebox tub. Now that he is in the breeding process (experimentation) and the delicate nature of this project I can not just comply with photos on request. Maybe I am being anal about this but the delicate nature of the breeding is very important to me and the community as well as Canada itself. I would not ask anyone in this forum to risk there potential projects just to prove me right or wrong, so respect me enough in the same manner. I think that is fair.
I am trying alot of experimentation on this project that I hope I can collect enough data and possible state as a science once the first steps of this project are taken. Breeding animals to me is not just a fun adventure but also something I consider a science. The Snow Boa species does have alot of "facts" that are yet to be proven as other morphs have achieved. I am very secretive and anal about this project so please bare with me as I hope to bring actual informative breeding processes I have learnt and wish to share with the community. All I want to do is contribute something of value back to the world where I gained my first steps to the next evolution of the herp community.
Please do not bother to insult or embarrass me of the method I am trying to explain myself, I do not do this with any of you and see no reason anyone has to do it to me.
Thank you and I hope we can all get along.
:D
Tony Pharosx
PS:
If a moderator wishes to close this thread I am fine with that. I do not see reasons why anyone will bother to rebuttal me when everyone already said there and I said mine. Both this and the Sunglow post exploded from really nothing. It is a shame that it went that way and that people felt to voice unrelated issues as well. I am sorry once more but since the situation was proven by me on the Snow, I see no reason to do this with the Sunglow. I do not want to rehash things over and over. I did not want to put people on the spot to prove my point, but there was no reason for them to do it too me that is even related to these issues.
I do not expect an apology from my accuser and people who followed his belief even though the proper protocol is exactly that.
I am sorry you all felt it was necessary and I hope the overall community can move forward in time.
Peace.

Well I've been quiet this whole time, and I must say I am with you 100% Tony. I mean since we have so many "elite" hackers I'm sure they could back track the photos to the original source, and find out where the pictures came from originally. Telling which camera they were taken on is nothing major, hell I use 3 digital cameras myself, samsung 2.1, the kodak 5.1, and I have a clever cam that I haven't used in ages but still have at my disposal. Anyways I hope you can turn some beautiful boas and it I could be wrong in this asumption but it looks like you do deal in the US as well? If that's so someday I'd like to possibly get something from you in the future when I learn more about boas myself. However I know as well as you do you don't have to prove anything to anyone but a picture of your cameras would be a stfu statement to your accusers.
Either way they're beautiful pics yours or not but I see no reason you'd have to lie. Good luck on your current and future products and keep the pics coming weither people think they are yours or not. Again I'd also like to see anyone find the source of origin to these photos and find the original photographer or website they are on. Then you might have some hard evidence but I know that none of the hackers I know were able to trace a source

Super secret experimental breeding project, so you can't take a picture. I'm guessing you also can't take me in front of a judge and show that you do have the snakes then either. Conveinient.
After reading your post, I retract my above statement where I thought you might actually have the snow boa now in your posessoin.
Now, I beleive, if you actually took the picture, you took a picture of another snow boa - cause anyone else on this forum would have taken a more recent picture of the both snakes in question to prove themselves innocent - super experimental top secret breeding project or not.
This will be my last post on the subject, Tony, thanks for letting me know, in my heart, that my first suspcions were correct. I need no further rambling from you, just an apology.
Ryan
Tony, I stayed neutral until your reply. This famous quote came to mind after reading your long rebuttal:

Tony,
As far as I know this is not the pic that was in question. This is the only pic that you might have taken. (unless you use different cameras for each snake) Photosmart for this one. Mavica for that one. Oops, I used the olympus for that snow)
The other pics were the ones that made the questions be asked.
And of course, you are the only one with the answers.

Just to be clear, I originally stated I thought he had the snow boa as of Jan 24, when he posted the 11th picture of the snake, Odin 11 - so that was not the original issue.
The recent pictures were Odin 147-149. Over 130 pictures in 2 weeks, and he waited to post some more till after enough was said against him. He even opened a closed thread back up, to let people continue to post. Bait and Trap! - very clever Tony.
I'm guessing he got the snake around Jan 24. He has still not said anything about the sunglow, and still is copyrighting the pictures of the snow on the branch that he did not take. Those were the original issues, were they not?
And I continue to wait for my damn apology.

Well that was fun. I think that at it's end it has now become one of the most long and truly pointless campaigns in history, only slightly behind the100 year war between England and france, and the Great War of 1912. And only slightly more bridges burned than both.
So Tony gets the pleasure of saying see I told you so , while his detractors sup on Corvid. Similarly the oposition gets the moral victory of having the evidence finally presented as they asked along with the battles of copyright and Romeo in their favor. A good time had by all.
Although, if intentional, I will give Tony marks for displaying the boa on the Faith section of the newspaper, a very subtle dig showing a sense of humour and irony.

Thank you for your comment, although you rarely reply to my or anyone' s posts I respect your reasons. My very first boas both Ramses and Cleopatra (Colombians) came from you. When we 1st meet at my 1st show ever and had our long conversation and process of that deal. I am not sure what you thought of me then, but you did make a good comment around the time Cleopatra gave me my 1st litter. From day 1 to that comment and right up to the reply you just made I think it is safe to say we think alot alike. Hopefully you are not offended by me saying that, because it is a compliment.

Great to hear from you :D

But the damage is already done .......... I have no idea why you didnt post pics sooner nor do i care ......... Wheather you had these animals in your collection when this all started is pretty irrelevant in my eyes ......... This has turned into an inquiry into what kind of person you are an wheather you have the integrity to put yourself out there honestly and conduct yourself in a manner which would have people want to do business with you ........ And I have to say that you have made grievous errors in dealing with this matter and it has made you less then desirable to do business with ......There are more then our fair share of "bad guys" in this business for one reason or another and in my opinion you have just labled yourself one of them with your actions in these threads ....I hope you have learned that pride is one of the most deadly of sins .... Best of luck to you in the future ........

Well I was pretty sure you had the snow and never said otherwise. As far as the coral sunglow goes I don't even care. You're dealing with high end boas which is a fairly small market. I don't see why you would want to spend so much time yanking the chain of potential customers and breeding partners. I'm sure you'll still make out all right but I'm also sure all this sillyness will cost you $$$. Your behaviour through out this whole situation has been odd to say the least and less than professional.

Maybe ssnakess should make it mandatory that everyone that posts a picture of their animals puts it on a current newspaper with them in the picture just to alleviate any issues like this from now on.....
Come on people.....he gave what was asked, and now everyone wants more???? When will it ever end?

I am glad that you finally posted the pic and calmed everyone down Tony, like I had said to you on the phone before this whole ridiculous post ever started. Just post a pic and no one would ever doubt you.
If you had the animal all this time and let it get to this point all you have proved is that you are one disturbed individual with nice boas.
Dan
Agreed. As much as all this drama is NOT needed from me, members or anyone else...the only person who could have stopped it on day one, didn't.
In any case, I will not waste more forum time on Tony's issues (or anyone elses). I am done. I tried to help Tony out in PM but he did nothing but demand threads be closed, left open, then closed, and demand apologies. I am not wasting any more time on this issue. The BOI is open for all those who want to continue it.
