It's 3 am...got home from work and I dont feel sleepy yet, so I'll post some pics :D I took these earlier today and added the black borders to make it look perty:)

I finally sat down and learned how to do the copyright 'thingy', woohoo. Tell me what you think as this is my first time trying it out. Any constructive criticism will be A ok!

This one's a cutie.

I guess it likes the taste of my hand.

Your crested has a very interesting pattern and contrast. Nice shots!

Gorgeous! And your webcam takes nice pics btw. As for photoshop tricks. Two-color borders are nice. Try a thin light color between the pic and the black and you'll get more definition between the dark parts of the pic and the border. Great shots though!

Woohooo... crestie pictures first thing in the morning, goes great with the first coffee of the day. Perfect start :)
Great pictures, specially a webcam! I really like the pose in the 3rd picture :)
Your copyright worked out well. It's a good idea to have part of it overlapping the gecko, makes it harder for someone to crop it off without losing part of the gecko.

Thanks for the nice compliments everyone :) Cresties are alot of fun.

Ducksarefun: That's a good tip, I must try that out sometime.

urd: I was thinking of making that as a banner for the new site I am making this summer. It'd make a cool looking business card as well like you said.

LOL Heather, here ya go...

It's a pretty simple process, well easy enough for me anyways in the 20 mins that it took me to learn. I think there are a lot of different ways you can do it, but this is just how I did it.

1) Click here (http://www.downloadfreefonts.com/fontfiles/afonts.htm) to download a font that you like. There are a ton of font download sites out there, just look around. The file you download will be compressed, you can either extract its contents directly in the Windows font folder or you can extract it somewhere else and cut and paste it to the Windows fonts folder.

2) To get to the Windows fonts folder click on Start-->Control Panel-->Fonts. Now copy/cut and paste your desired font into the folder. The font I downloaded is called 'Creaminal', notice that it is a TrueType Font file.

3) Open Adobe Photoshop, open an image and click on the Type Tool. Now you can make a text box anywhere on the picture :)

4) To make the copyright symbol hold alt and press 0169 on the numb pad of your keyboard. Note that the text must be in Times New Romans for it to work. After you get the copyright out of the way you can change your font, colour, size etc... and type in your name.

5) Lastly, to get that faded effect you can change the opacity of the text.

Hope this helps and that you are not too confused :D Good luck!
