Hey

Out of curiosity is it easyer for cresties tail to fall off then a leopard gecko? So would cresties be more fragile? Another question is once the tail falls off will it end of shrvilling up?

I have no idea how easy it comes off compared to a leo but what I have noticed is that their tail will begin to vibrate real quickly, whenever I see this I just let them be and dont disturb them any further. I haven't lost a tail yet but im sure its just a matter of time. When they drop their tail it heals up into a little pointy stub.

Oh, see the only problem is that I would freak out it feel off, thats why I'm not so sure about getting one. So if heals up what happens to the other end? I've had geckos by none of there tails have ever fallen off.

I can see it starts to grow back again, neat.

The Panther eggs should hatch on the 31st. The date is comming close. I havnt seen and sweat beads yet, and it has collasped which is suppose too. The lastest I think would be mid Feburary:(

Oh I forgot, their tails dont grow back. They just end up like that pointy stubby. Most of the adult cresties in the wild lose their tails so its no biggy.

Let me know when they do hatch. I think I want to get back into chams. :)

How many eggs do you have incubating?
How long have you been incubating?
As for the tail I've owned around 10 cresties and I've never lost a tail. That leads me to believe it is more likely to happen from breeding or territory disputes. I don't think its a big deal if it does happen anyway. I've read that most cresties in the wild dont have a tail.

Oh thanks. I have 2 clutchs incubating right now. It would have been 6 months in febuary. Sometimes it can take longer because of the diapause. Are cresties aggressive? and do they jump a lot

There not even close to aggressive. They're great geckos to handle. Some jump quite a bit while others are happy to crawl around. It up to the individual but with regular handling they settle down nicely. I have a few cresties that are great to handle while others would rather get away from me. :)
